'' 'I really enjoy having time and freedom to experiment'
'One of my interests is in the process of painting, my current work reflects this'

'Painting is exciting and full of possibilities'

'The main recurring theme in my painting is landscape & nature. I intend to paint about where I have lived & visited. It is representative of the colours and beauty within our environment'

In many of Margie pieces the landscape is obvious however in others she has began to explore more abstract qualities, she is aiming to push boundaries by incorporating different textures and mark making.
'I am really excited about my recent work.
I am using a variety of materials to paint on including paper, cardboard, wood, canvas board and canvas using layering, scraping away, adding on and application.

' I am working primarily in acrylic, pencil, chalk, pastel and felt tip pens. Some of my current work is inspired by a visit to Darwin Forest. Nature trails, trees, leaves, air, beauty and so much more'

'I also love the colours and farming of the Fens and much of my work is representational of this natural flat farm land'
